The book actually started with these three words: Find the Calm. It was a phrase that I have been seeking for most of my life and it took a drastic change to finally understand what "Calmness" meant.
The idea initially for the book was that the power of a stressful situation really comes down to perception. The book evolves into other areas that are important to Calmness. I also learned through my research on stress and through my interviews with wellness practitioners that there are a few more layers that we need to recognize.
Calmness is a practice that becomes automatic and much of it is what you already exercised in the past. It is just a matter of taking that moment and make it part of your every day presence and every day participation in the world.
Take action to care for yourself and others around you!
